One of my best friends graduated Magna Cum Laude from UT Dallas this morning! We (her friends) were immensely proud and I think the entire commencement audience might have had a clue when – in unison and…loudly – we chanted: “Rochelle! Go! Four point-o!” as she walked across the stage to claim her hard-earned diploma!

Yesterday was such a blast! I went from moments of being a nervous wreck, praying I wouldn’t trip and take out the dean as I walked across the stage, to moments of sheer joy as I glanced over my left shoulder to see my best friends up in the stands cheer me on. Words can’t describe it. God is so good to me. Thank you for being there yesterday, and everyday before that too.
P.S. I actually graduated Summa, but who’s counting!? LOL! (I had to “walk” with last semester’s stats since grades were not “officially” in yet.)
